Peter’s work is so unique in it’s materiality, vectors, astonishing
sweeps of sound, time & space- his stance is an undermining of the
mere idea or question of “stance”, his process is not strategy but
terse, tactile discrete increments so miniscule & vast that we
constantly arrive at a clearing where there is only a when of a now-

buckle up- his poetry is the most radical & innovative imaginable.

Allen Fisher has been involved in performance writing since 1962. A poet, painter, publisher, editor & art historian, he has produced one hundred & forty chapbooks & books of poetry, graphics & art documentation. He was co-editor & publisher of Aloes Books; he currently edits & publishes Spanner.

Allen lives in Hereford, England where he is Head of Contemporary Arts at Manchester Metropolitan University in Crewe.

His works include-

The Apocolyptic Sonnets (1978), Brixton Fractals (1985, republished in

1999), Civic Crime (1994), Fish Jet (1997), Gravity (2004),

Singularity Stereo (2006), Leans (2007) & Birds (2009).

Michelle Taransky was born in Camden, NJ in 1981. Taransky’s first
book, Barn Burned, Then, was selected by Marjorie Welish for the 2008
Omnidawn Poetry Prize. A graduate of the University of Chicago & the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Taransky lives in Philadelphia where she works at Kelly Writers House, is Reviews Editor for Jacket2, and teaches writing at University of Pennsylvania and Temple University.

Debrah Morkun received a Master of Fine Arts in Writing & Poetics from Naropa University, Boulder CO, in 2004. In 2005, she ran the internship program at the Bowery Poetry Club. Upon returning to her hometown of Philadelphia, Debrah started the New Philadelphia Poets
(www.newphiladelphiapoets.com), a group committed to expanding the spaces for poetry in Philadelphia. She currently teaches English & Writing at Temple University and Community College of Philadelphia. Debrah’s first book of poetry, Projection Machine, was released by BlazeVox Books in April 2010. She is currently at work on two long poem pieces entitled- The Ida Pingala and Hera Calf.  Her work can be viewed at http://www.debrahmorkun.com/.

Work from The Bugging Watch & Other Exhibits was first published in
Caketrain Journal, Drunken Boat, 42 Opus, Mad Poet’s Review, No Tell
Motel, Shattered Wig Review, SoMa Literary Review, Tarpaulin Sky and
Wicked Alice. “The Exhibits” was published as a chapbook entitled The
Residents (dancing girl press). Parts of “The Bugging Watch” were
published in the anthology narrative (dis)continuities: prose
experiments by younger american writers (Recycled Karma Press).

Eileen Myles

Eileen Myles was born in Boston and moved to New York in 1974. Her Inferno (a poet’s novel) is just out from OR books. For her collection of essays, The Importance of Being Iceland, she received a Warhol/Creative Capital grant. Sorry Tree is her most recent book of poems. In 2010 the Poetry Society of America awarded Eileen the Shelley Prize. She is a Prof. Emeritus of Writing at UC San Diego. She lives in New York.

CA Conrad is a nationally acclaimed poet and performer. The son of white trash asphyxiation, his childhood included selling cut flowers along the highway for his mother and helping her shoplift.

CA has published four books: Deviant Propulsion (Soft Skull Press, 2006) a book that inspired a Publisher’s Weekly reviewer to draw parallels between his work and the poetry of Allen Ginsberg; The Book of Frank( Chax Press,2009) a magical book of poems that brings to life an alter ego who speaks a continual stream of uncensored truths which won the Gil Ott Book Award  and  Advanced Elvis Course (Soft Skull Press,  2009)- a rollicking and surreal book about the mythological Elvis. Factory School has just published the long awaited collaboration with poet Frank Sherlock titled The City Real & Imagined. A new expanded version of The Book of Frank is forthcoming
from WAVE BOOKS.

Christophe Casamassima is the editor of Furniture Press Books, and the
proprietor of two poetics and poetry sites: onthology/audio, a space
for recordings by poets in and around the American Northeast, and
Dialogue’s End, wherein poets review books and interview one another
in an open discussion of forms.

twenty three books recently published Ore, which is the final third of
the Proteus Cycle, which includes The Proteus and Joys: A Catalogue of
Disappointments.

Christophe is currently the Director of Literary and Performance Arts
at the Towson Arts Collective, where he and Douglas Mowbray have
partnered to establish the Baltimore Center for the Emerging Text, a
site at which poets, publishers and readers can share ideas and
resources.

Emily Carr’s book  ‘directions for flying’  won the 2009 Furniture Press
Poetry Award & is currently available through SPD. Cole Swensen chose
Emily’s manuscript 13 ways of happily: books 1 & 2 (Parlor Press) as
the winner of the 2009 New Measures Poetry Prize.  Her work can be
found in recent issues of Hayden’s Ferry Review, Bombay Gin, Margie,
Gargoye, Interim, Caketrain, 6 by 6, ISLE, Phoebe, Fourteen Hills, &
Versal.

In April 2010, Emily was a Zoland Poetry Fellow at the Vermont Studio
Center.

Magus Magnus lives in the D.C. metro area. Ten years in the making,
Heraclitean Pride, his creative-poetic treatment of the fragments of
Heraclitus, is just out this fall from Furniture Press, with an
introduction by Dr. Wolfgang Fuchs. Magnus’ book Verb Sap came out in
2008 from Narrow House. Two poems from Verb Sap – “Radical Crumb”
and”Empirical /Imperial Demonstration” – have been selected for the
10th edition of
Pearson Longman’s English anthology, Literature.
